LESSONS LEARNED AFTER A YEAR OF WATERCOLOUR PAINTING

Hello, how are you today? Welcome to our blog About Painting and Art. We hope you are very well and looking forward to a new Free Art and painting Post or Tutorial.
Today we want to share with you a special post:
Is it hard to learn watercolor painting?
Watercolor artist K. Lee, who recently appeared on social media in a watercolor painting group, shared her tips for other beginners who have just started watercolor painting. With her permission, we present her advice below.
After a year of watercolor painting, here are some things I wish I had known from the beginning. Take what it's worth!
- Buy the best paint / brush / paper you can afford; I've wasted so much time, money, and paper on cheap paint; my images never seemed acceptable until I switched to good ones. Stick to tubes if possible; The molds are fine, but a little color in the tubes will give you more vivid colors.
- Paint something every day. Whatever happens, just try to paint regularly. There are many tutorials on YouTube that will keep you busy.
- LID (let it dry!). It has taken me longer to discover that walking away and drying a section is the key to pure, bright colors.
- Be kind to yourself, stop comparing your work to these painters on the internet, you know it took them 3-4 tries to get a good enough painting to show.
