PLEIN AIR PAINTING WITH PASTELS (1)

Hello, how are you today? Welcome to our blog About Painting and Art. We hope you are very well and looking forward to a new Free Art and painting Post or Tutorial.

Today we want to share with you a special post:

Plein Air Painting with Pastels

In this lesson, we're going to leave the studio and go outside to paint a little outside with pastel colors. Outdoor painting refers to the act of drawing or painting outdoors in the natural surroundings of the subject. This way of creating art has always been around, but it became popular with the French Impressionists. These artists worked to capture the subtle nuances and effects of natural light. This made nature his study.

For our demonstration we will work quickly and freely like the French Impressionists, but instead of traditional oil paintings we will develop our image with soft and hard pastels. We're also going to overdo some of the natural colors to add more pop and interest to our image.
